Privacy policy
Data controller and contact
The data controller is Tahifed Comercio Internacional, S.L., using the contact details above. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email marbella@lapavada.com.
What data we use and why
- Purchases and accounts: identification and contact details, addresses, products and order history to manage your account, purchase, payment, delivery and after-sales support. The legal basis is performance of the contract and the steps you request before entering into it.
- Invoicing and legal obligations: the information needed to issue and retain records and meet tax, accounting and consumer-law obligations. The legal basis is compliance with those obligations.
- Enquiries: the information you send us to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, manage your purchase. For other enquiries, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to communications received.
- Marketing communications: if you voluntarily subscribe, we use your email address to send updates with your consent. You can withdraw that consent and unsubscribe at any time.
- Analytics, advertising and optional chat: data associated with the tools you authorise in the cookie settings. Chat also involves the content of messages you choose to send.
Required fields are needed to handle your request or complete your order. Do not include sensitive data or card information in messages or contact forms.
Who may receive your data
Necessary data may be shared with your chosen carriers and payment providers, public authorities where legally required, and suppliers providing hosting, management, support or invoicing services for the shop, under the applicable conditions.
The optional tools identified are Google Analytics, the Meta pixel and Smartsupp. Chat is provided by Smartsupp.com, s.r.o., Palachovo náměstí 799/5, 625 00 Brno, Czech Republic. International providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; their policies describe the destinations and applicable safeguards. You can request more information from our privacy contact.
How long we keep your data
We retain account data while the account is active or the data is needed to provide the service, enquiry data while handling the enquiry, and subscription data until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent. Purchase and invoicing data is retained for the applicable statutory periods and limitation periods for liability; it is then deleted or restricted where required.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability in the circumstances provided by law. You can also withdraw consent without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. Where necessary, we may request proportionate information to verify your identity.
If you believe we have not properly addressed your rights, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
Cookies and third-party tools
Cookies and similar technologies store information in your browser. Some are necessary for the basket, session, security or payment you request. Optional tools require your prior choice, and you can reject them and still shop.
What you can choose
- Necessary: PrestaShop operation, basket, session and consent preferences. Our own lp_consent_v1 cookie retains your choice for six months.
- Analytics: Google Analytics helps us understand visits and how the shop is used. Its _ga and _ga_* cookies last two years by default, depending on provider and browser settings.
- Advertising: the Meta pixel measures ads and product interactions and may use identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc. Retention depends on the configuration and is described in the provider's policy.
- Smartsupp chat: retains conversations and recognises visits associated with the service. The provider publishes a six-month lifespan for ssupp.vid and, in versions that use it, ssupp.visits. Some chat preferences remain in local storage until the application or user deletes them.
Payment providers may use storage necessary to process your chosen payment method. The lifespan of shop session cookies depends on the PrestaShop configuration and can be checked in the panel.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use Cookies in the website footer to accept, reject or choose by purpose. Withdrawing permission for a tool that is already running reloads the page to stop it; avoid doing this while completing an unsaved form. You can also delete cookies and storage in your browser settings.
More information from each provider: Google Analytics, Meta and Smartsupp.
